Group Header Band

Group Header Band is subordinated to Data Band, and does not create a master-detail Relation dataset in ODI. It is used for designing the band of master-detail reports. It can be added by using the menu in Data Band, Insert Band > Upper Group Header/Footer Band, and it is added right above the corresponding data band. Group Footer Band will be added together when adding Group Header Band. Similarly, when deleting the group header band, the group footer band will be deleted at the same time.

To insert a Group Header Band, set Group Base Field, Grouping Field Sort Option, Grouping Field Sort Order, etc.
