AttachmentButton

The AttachmentButton component is used for attaching a PDF, PNG, JPG, GIF file or a photo taken with a camera to a report.

Also, images in PNG/JPG/GIF files, or photos taken can be merged into a single image using the Combine Photos function.

To add an AttachmentButton, click the Button in the Insert Input Component tab and drag-and-drop it to the band.

To add FixedTableAttachmentButton, click the Change Input Type > AttachmentButton pop-up menu of the fixed table cell.

When a PDF file is attached using AttachmentButton, a new page will be added with the attached PDF file's paper information.

If you attach an image using AttachmentButton, the Edit Image dialog is executed. If you edit the image and click the Done button in the image editing dialog, then the edited image is added to a new page. Note that the added page is set with the paper information of the report in which AttachmentButton is added, and Isotropic and Center are applied for the Background Image Style.

When multiple attachment buttons are inserted into a single report, new pages are added in the order displayed in the component tree regardless of the order in which the user inserted the pages.

To change the text on the Attachment button after a file or image is attached, use the Text After Attach property.

Take note of the following when using the Attachment button.

1.It does not work in multi-screen environments.

2.Password protected PDF files cannot be attached.

3.Reports with a PDF file attached can only be saved in the following formats.

5.Note that in HTML5 Viewer, the following constraints exist.

If you are using Internet Explorer, then HTML5 Viewer is only available for Internet Explorer 10 or higher versions.

If HTML5JS Viewer is executed in iOS, then PDF files are not attachable.

When you execute the Show saved history feature, the change history number of the Attachment button is displayed but the View icon is not displayed. Hence, the attached contents are not shown.
