PDF Document

The PDF Document component is used for inserting PDF files.

To insert a PDF Document, select a Report template from the Component tree and click the PDF Document menu in the Insert Band tab of the ribbon menu. Then, select PDF Document(Embedded) or PDF Document(URL).

If you select the PDF Document(Embedded) menu, the content of the PDF file selected from the Repository file dialog box is stored in the OZR file. Therefore, the OZR file size increases according to the PDF file size.

If you select the PDF Document(URL) menu, the URL of the PDF file selected from the Repository file dialog box is stored in the PDFURL property value of the file. This does not affect the OZR file size, but if there is no PDF file in the URL, an empty page will be generated.

When you insert a PDF Document, PDFPage objects are automatically added according to the number of pages of the PDF file.

You can design a PDF Document by binding components such as Label, Text box, etc. to PDFPage.

Take note of the following when using reports containing PDF Documents.

1.The reports are only saved in the file formats of ozd, pdf, csv, txt, jpg, png, gif, and tif.

2.The following features are not available: One page preview(viewer.largebundle), Save one page, Report Margin, and Inverse Paper.
