Example - Crosstab Wizard


Title of row or column

For example, , when rows, columns, and values are set as shown in the figure below, the crosstab header, the title that cross rows and columns, is configured differently depending on the title option of the rows and columns.

If you select Merge

Must create one crosstab header and set the crosstab header text to "Main Title".

If you select Vertical split by row count

Split the crosstab header vertically into two rows, which is the number of row fields, and set the crosstab header text to the row field names, "Region" and "BranchOffice".

If you select Horizontal split by column count

Split the crosstab header horizontally into three columns, which is the number of column fields, and set the crosstab header text to the column field names, "CarID", "OrderID", and "OrderDate".

Title of field

For example, when rows, columns, and values are set as shown in the figure below, the title of the value is configured differently depending on the title option of the value.

If you check Show value title and select Use row title

The title of the value is displayed in the rows of the crosstab.

If you check Show value title and select Use column title

The title of the value is displayed in the columns of the crosstab.
