Blockchain-Based Mobile Membership System for Lotte Card
Lotte Card is the credit card company among the distribution business group with the most extensive distribution & service network in Korea. They have a service network covering the entire Lotte Group infrastructure, such as department stores, hypermarkets, home shopping, cinema/theater, and coffee shops. They provide a substantial benefit in ‘discount’ and ‘point savings,’ the representative service area of the credit card. Lotte Card pursues not the largest but the best credit card company. They are building the No.1 personal finance network by developing lifestyle financial services that maximize customer value and the consumer-friendly infrastructure of Lotte.
Challenges
Lotte Card faced several obstacles that required their attention. Among these were the inconvenience and security risks related to their paper-based process for member registration applications. They aimed to expand their Out Door Sales (ODS) business and sought an electronic registration system to gain a competitive edge. To achieve this, they needed a security system that prevented document tampering and ensured data integrity. Additionally, Lotte Card aimed to offer unique and improved services by integrating blockchain technology.
How We Helped
We helped Lotte Card by implementing various solutions to address their challenges. We introduced a real-time mobile platform that allowed customers to create electronic documents for membership applications, product descriptions, and agreement forms. This streamlined the process and eliminated the inconvenience of paper-based documentation, while features like a writing guide with a highlighter function and signature omission prevention enhanced the customer experience. To ensure document integrity, we integrated blockchain technology, enabling real-time verification of electronic documents and preventing tampering.
Result
Lotte Card saw remarkable outcomes after utilizing our solutions. Using OZ e-Form’s dynamic form features and unique capabilities reduced document creation time and improved customer satisfaction with a one-stop service experience. Furthermore, form-based electronic documents could easily undergo format changes, leading to greater maintenance efficiency. Additionally, implementing a blockchain-based document authentication service improved both convenience and security. Overall, our solutions not only improved efficiency and convenience but also strengthened the security measures for Lotte Card.
